About Us

RELAX AND BREATHE IN THAT FRESH AIR.... We understand that many of us spend so much of our time in a frantic whirlwind (working or just cramming too much into our daily lives) when we do get some time relax, it is important that this time should be as stress-free as possible. We make every effort to ensure The Annex is a comfortable, cosy and welcoming place to stay; somewhere you will be happy to wind down, relax and take a break from your busy lives. Somewhere you will look forward to returning to at the end of a long day out-and-about enjoying all that North Devon has to offer and perhaps, look forward to returning to year after year.

Spring walk with the family accross Exmoor

Born into a farming family and growing up in the village of Abbotsham, Jacquie moved away and never anticipated the opportunity to come back and bring up her children here. Steve and Jacquie now have five children and 5 grandchildren and still love living on the North Devon coast and particularly in the wonderful village of Abbotsham. It means they know nearly everyone in the village; have a great support network and are passionate about supporting the local rural and business community. If you need any introductions or have any questions about where to go and what to do they are sure they will be able to help you and genuinely want to help their visitors fall in love with North Devon too. Many guests become regular visitors and friends.
