Accessed by wooden stairs with a door at the bottom this huge bedroom suite can sleep a famiy of 4 (+cots) very comfortably in a king-size double and two single beds. With high ceiling and open rafters, a large corner sofa and double aspect windows the room feels really spacious. The ensuite has a large shower, toilet and basin but no bath (there is a bath downstairs and a hot tub outside!)

This room has a super-king size bed which can be split to make a twin room if prefered. Deliciously cool in the summer and warm in the winter, the thick stone walls work their magic to maintain a comfortable temperature all year round. This downstairs bedroom and the luxurious downstairs bathroom are accessed off a small hall by the side door. The bathroom is large and stylish, tiled from floor to ceiling with underfloor heating, a large bath, wetroom-style shower, toilet and basin
The Annex
A five-star cottage with two large en-suite bedrooms (sleeps 4-6), private hot tub, swimming pool and tennis court. Recently refurbished and quite charming, The Annex is the end of a traditional Devon longhouse with thick stone walls, slate roof and a rose growing over the doorway - everything you could wish for in a perfect holiday cottage in the country. The Annex can be booked independently from Southclay as a stand alone unit with separate access, facilities and own hot tub... perfect for a family or even for a couple for a romantic getaway; or booked in conjunction with Southclay to increase the total number of guests accommodated.
