Halloween Half Term Autumn Break

Perfect for little monsters and for those adults who want to let their hair down and have a laugh! Come and stay in Southclay (sleeps 10-12) or The Annex (sleeps 4-6) for a fun, "not-so-relaxing" Autumn break!

The Thatched Inn, a traditional village pub only 5 minutes' walk away, is decorated for three weeks every October and filled with seasonal treats that go bump and many that will make you jump! A great meeting place for witches' covens and for devils to dance. The carvery hot plate may contain the decapitated heads of locals who did not pay their tab and there will always be something scary lurking behind the door and under the table!

The BIG Sheep's Fun-by-Day Halloween festival is great family family entertainment but the Scary-by-Night Halloween evenings (6pm - 10pm) featuring live actors, pyrotechnics, gory special effects and jump scares are definitely not for the faint hearted. Fun by day.... scary by night....

There is a toddler monster ball, pumpkin carving, witches' flying school and skeletons galore, fun and laughter and family entertainment by day but as twilight falls.... demons rise to hunt for fresh souls. You’ll witness your worst nightmares as dreadful devils and wicked men inflict eternal suffering on the tortured souls trapped between hell and earth. Are you brave enough to take a trip on the Haunted Hayride as it takes you on a journey through the Gates of Hell... or take a white-knuckle ride on the Terror Train as it creeps through the darkness? The haunted house will have you screaming for the exit as each room unleashes a new interactive terror and try if you dare, Arachnophobia or the Twister Terror ride.
