Our Properties

The Annex, near the North Devon coast sleeps 4-6 in two bedrooms and is perfect for a winter break, particularly at Christmas or over New Year. A traditional, cosy stone cottage, recently refurbished; this property boasts both a wood burner fire and a large, private hot tub. Decorations are included at Christmas making the cottage even more attractive and sparkly for festive treat.

Country cottage for a Christmas/New Year Break

The Annex and our other property, Southclay are beautifully furnished and well equipped for a relaxing break with family or special friends at any time of the year but getting together at Christmas or for a New Year celebration is always particularly special. These cottages are family-friendly, comfortable and cosy but rated 5-star are also special enough to be a real treat for everyone.

Near the North Devon coast, overlooking beautiful countryside and the sea, these cottages are perfectly situated for a bracing walk along the cliffs or along the beach, or even the seasonal challenge of a dip in the sea on Boxing Day or New Year's day! Return to the wonderful private hot tubs to warm up or snuggle in front of the woodburner and get toasty watching the flames, reading a book, doing a jigsaw, watching a film or (if you are like my family at Christmas) to play family games for hours in front of the fire.

Decorations are provided making the properties particularly sparkly and festive but if you prefer to bring your own decorations or would like to have holly, ivy and fir from the garden or our local woods that can be arranged, please ask.

    The Annexe is a five-star cottage that sleeps up to eight people, with two en-suite bedrooms and exclusive use of a hot tub, swimming pool and table tennis table. It also has shared use of a tennis court with the owners (though they rarely use it!). Part of a charming 17th-century Devon longhouse, The Annexe boasts thick stone walls, a slate roof and a rose growing over the doorway. The property is located at the edge of a friendly village, overlooking the beautiful North Devon coastline, and is the perfect holiday location for families, friends and couples alike.
