Beautiful Autumn, time to pause and reignite the lust for nature and fresh air. Time to take stock, enjoy the simple pleasures and look forward optimistically to 2021
Autumn reminds us just how beautiful it is to stop, to refocus, to rest or to hibernate! We are so lucky to have been able to take time to pause and enjoy the peace and beauty surrounding us in North Devon during these few weeks' lockdown. Misty mornings; vibrant colours in the hedgerows; mushrooms in the fields and long shadows in the weak sunshine. The first bracing, winter clifftop walks; empty beaches; scrunchy leaves underfoot in the woods; wind in our hair; garden bonfires; muddy wellies... AND a dip in the hot tub; a warm drink and cosy fire waiting for us to return to. This month I am back to my regular yoga, enjoying walking more and finding peace and beauty in North Devon's rugged and practically deserted, wild environments.
