"Thank you so much for a lovely holiday and for heating the pool! Enjoyed the tennis, swimming, hot tub and pool table. Can recommend Meddons Lane fish and chips on the road into Bideford and the pasty shop a few doors down from there. Also had a good meal at the lovely "Thatched Inn". The boys enjoyed The Big Sheep and the High Ropes. Also enjoyed cycling the Tarka Trail & visiting Appledore. Thank you again for your hospitality & lovely house! "Jacquie was really helpful and was able to provide lot of local knowledge e.g. about suitable horseriding for the children. The house was great for our three generations with something for everyone and was spacious enough for us to feel that we all had plenty of room. The tennis court and hot tub were well used. The area meant that there was lots to do from visiting sculpture parks and national trust properties to surfing at Westward Ho!, climbing on the high ropes and making use of the retail outlet a mile up the road. "Very luxurious and comfortable with lots of facilities on site (pool/snooker table, tennis court, swimming pool). Owner very friendly and approachable. Property situated in lovely village with post office, pub, play park, high ropes course and adventure centre all within a couple of minutes. "The house is very luxurious; everything you could possibly need is there. Lots of room for everybody and enough bedrooms and bathrooms to maintain your own personal space if you need it!! Loads to do in and around the house, and easily accessible to the coastal path and local beaches. We went on a family holiday ages from 6-64 and all had a great time. "Southclay is a beautiful spacious property which easily accommodated our 6 children and 4 adults. The hot tub was a particular favourite of the younger children. The house is beautifully decorated to a high standard and the views are amazing. Jacquie is very approachable and accommodating. You will not be disappointed if you choose to stay in this house.
