We are awaiting assessment for VisitEngland by the Quality in Tourism assessor but hope to achieve a 5-star rating for The Annex.
Recently refurbished and quite charming, we are confident The Annex will be a popular addition to our portfolio. It can be booked independently from Southclay as a stand alone unit with separate access and own hot tub, just sharing the tennis court and pool or in conjunction with Southclay when the total number of guests accommodated could be a maximum of 18 (12+6)
The Annex is in the traditional Devon longhouse adjacent to Southclay. Refurbished to a high standard, and well equipped it will sleep 4-6 (+cot) in two en-suite bedrooms. A twin or a king-size double downstairs (can be arranged to suit) and a king-size double with two single beds in the large en-suite upstairs.
The fantastic view from the window seat in the upstairs bedroom overlooking the pool and the coastline is shown below.
There is a fully fitted kitchen/diner with all the modern facilities and appliances you would expect (and more!) and a delightful lounge with a cosy woodburner. Both the lounge and the kitchen/diner have big glass doors onto the patio by the pool and The Annex hot tub from which to watch the tennis or watch the sun go down over the North Devon coast.
The Annex can be rented individually as a completely independant unit or in conjunction with Southclay with a door in the end of The Annex linking the two properties accross the Southclay forecourt enabling the maximum number of guests accommodated to increase to 18.
